Vegan cats

Regular cat food is so processed that the minerals and vitamins cats need are added back into the food at the end of the process. A house cat eating regular cat food is eating a mix of factory farmed animals that it would never eat in nature and that food is processed into a uniform mix that the company determines is healthy for the cat. This process can be done with animal protein or plant protein. The reason cats are "obligate carnivores" in nature is because they do not have the enzymes or biological set up to digest raw plant material. Vegan cat food is not raw plant material. It is food processed to be completely digestible for a cat with the correct balance of vitamins and minerals. Plant-based cat food makes it possible to feed our favorite felines without supporting factory farms. The brand of food in this video is Ami Cat: www.amipetfood.com
